Waterproof Luminous Light How to Adjust Declination?

1. Identify the declination variance on your map. For example, 20° east.
2. Turn the screw on the bezel until the bottom side of the North Arrow meets the 20° at the "E. dec" scale. Use the orienting lines at the bottom of the capsule, not the North Arrow, as the map's North reference lines when taking a bearing on the map.
3. After adjusting for declination, the compass needle still points towards magnetic north.

Sighting Mirror
